Goldman Sachs Private Wealth Management (PWM) specializes in creating comprehensive wealth management plans for high net worth individuals and families, as well as select institutions, including foundations and endowments. PWM Teams work one-on-one with clients to advise and deliver customized strategies drawn from our deep investment experience, diverse wealth management capabilities and global reach. Our Private Wealth Advisors (PWAs) deliver an unparalleled investment platform inclusive of the full product and service offerings of Goldman Sachs and beyond, which may include tax and estate planning, philanthropic planning and private banking and lending services. As client needs evolve, this close relationship allows the team to offer complementary services and new opportunities by leveraging the resources of Goldman Sachs and beyond.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS

YOUR IMPACT

As a Product Manager, you will be responsible for helping re-invent how financial services are distributed and consumed. You will join a team of creative and driven product managers to help build universally accessible financial solutions that are simple and transparent. You are passionate about intuitive and user centric designed product experiences, and enhancing the client and advisor experience. You are comfortable writing specs, managing project execution, performing user testing, and being laser focused on metrics for the features you bring to market.

The Private Wealth Management (PWM) business secures, develops and manages relationships with ultra-high net worth individuals, as well as their families, family offices, foundations and investment vehicles. With an increased emphasis on a digital experience, while maintaining a customized, white glove level of service, the PWM Product Team is focused on enhancing the client and advisor experience through best-in-class, innovative solutions

HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL

    Learn and understand the full suite of PWM digital offerings-from portfolio reporting solutions to onboarding tools to communication channels, from small product features to entire platforms (mobile, web)
  • Partner with product owners to develop product marketing strategies that best position our products and product enhancements for internal teams and external clients
  • Draft and tailor product messaging for a variety of stakeholders, from clients to teams to business management
  • Execute go-to-market product marketing strategies in channels that reach our internal and external audiences
  • Think creatively about ways to engage and reach our internal teams in an oversaturated work environment
  • Demo products and features to key stakeholders; train teams across the system on new products and new features
  • Support teams and clients with day-to-day product questions
  • Educate product stakeholders about how best to work with the advocacy team
  • Represent the digital advocacy team to the stakeholder community
  • Represent the needs of the end user within the stakeholder community-always anchoring features and functionalities to the client/advisor perspective and experience
  • Establish collaborative and productive relationships with teams, regional management, and the broader Product team
  • Coordinate communications with, and secure approval from, key internal partners (Compliance, Legal, Technology Risk, Executive Office)

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

  • 3-5 (AS) / 5-7 (VP) years of product and/or product marketing experience; wealth management experience ideal but not required
  • A track record of successful product marketing, rollout and support initiatives, including internal campaigns within an organization and external campaigns for clients
  • Excellent writing and communication skills and a desire to work in a team-oriented environment
  • Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to synthesize differing requirements
  • Strong attention to detail; strong logical thinker
  • Demonstrate a high degree of personal accountability, going above and beyond to ensure that products are delivered on time with a high degree of quality
  • Commitment to excellence and a high level of integrity
  • Self-motivated, comfortable following direction, and able to balance quality work while meeting short deadlines
