Position Summary: Assess and treat individuals with mental illnesses and/or substance abuse problems. Provision of individual, family and group therapy for an adult primarily in a behavioral health environment.

Minimum Qualifications:

- Master's Degree in related field

- If hired after December 1, 2018, must have WV Licensure in field of study, which permits practicing psychotherapy and specifically meets guidelines for commercial payors. If hired prior to December 1, 2018, we encourage staff to work toward terminal licensure in their field.

- Licensing or certification at the following levels: Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) Note: Non-independently licensed therapists must obtain their independent licensure within 3 years of employment. - Valid driver's license for employees of the Adolescent Services, Day Hospital and ACT.

- Only Required if responding to Mental Hygiene Petitions: Completion of State-Required training to become a certified Mental Hygiene Petition Evaluator.
