MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE:
1. WV Nurse Practitioner licensure.

1. Administers or orders diagnostic tests, such as electrocardiogram and laboratory tests, as needed.
2. Examines patients to obtain information about their physical condition.
3. Instructs and educates patients about prescribed therapeutic regimens.
4. Interprets diagnostic test results for deviations from normal.
5. Makes diagnoses and decisions about management and treatment of patients.
6. Obtains, compiles, and records patient medical data, including health history, progress notes and results of physical examination.
7. Prescribes therapy or medication with physician approval.
8. Observes patients, updates charts, orders therapy, and reports back to physician.
