West Virginia University School of Medicine and the Department of Medicine seek a Breast Oncologist (ranks available: Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor). The successful candidate will be expected to practice in Morgantown, West Virginia.

Duties: The Division of Hematology Oncology and the WVU Medicine Cancer Institute are seeking a full time Breast Oncologist specializing in the care of breast oncology cancer patients. The successful candidate will be a faculty member in the WVU School of Medicine and practice at the Mary Babb Randolph Cancer Center located on the J.W. Ruby Memorial Academic Medical Center campus. In addition to providing excellent patient care, the successful candidate will also be actively involved in teaching learners in all stages of their education, including medical oncology fellows, clinical research with opportunities to be part of translational science teams.

Qualifications: Candidate must have an MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent and be eligible for state medical license. Successful candidate must have completed Internal Medicine residency program, as well as Oncology fellowship program. Successful candidates must be board certified / eligible in Oncology. All qualifications must be met by the time of appointment.

We offer treatment to those in West Virginia as well as patients from five border states. We have a very active clinical trials program, pharmaceutical studies, and emerging statewide clinical trials network.

The section of Hematology and Oncology currently includes 55 physicians and advanced practice professionals at 15 practice sites across our multi-state network. The Institute is committed to delivering cancer care closer to home and will continue to develop our capacity to provide local care in conjunction with over 900 community partners. Examples of our innovative, patient centered approach include nationally recognized programs such as Mobile Cancer Screening Program (Bonnie's Bus and LUCAS).
