Additional Job Description:

This full-time clinical generalist float position will rotate through our non-academic hospitalist and surgery services as part of the clinical generalist division. Weekday scheduling is entirely day shift. This position works approximately every 6th weekend and comp days are provided when weekends are worked. Weekend shifts may be day or evening but will predominantly be day. The duties of this position include order verification, responding to drug information questions, medication management, pharmacokinetic consultation, patient counseling, and coordination of operational functions with pharmacy technicians. This position is decentralized and has dedicated rounding responsibilities. Precepting students is a requirement of this position. This position is also eligible to be part of the Code Blue response pharmacy team.

Preferred Qualifications

1. Completion of a PGY-1 Residency AND Board Certified in an applicable clinical field OR;

2. Completion of a PGY-1 Residency AND relevant pharmacist experience OR;

3. Relevant pharmacy experience AND Board Certified in an applicable clinical field
