West Virginia University Rockefeller Neuroscience Institute and the Department of Behavioral Medicine and Psychiatry in the WVU School of Medicine seek a neuropsychologist qualified for appointment at the Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor rank. The successful candidate will be expected to practice in Morgantown, WV.

Duties: The candidate will practice in the area of neuropsychology and traumatic brain injury. In addition to providing excellent patient care, the successful candidate will also be actively involved in teaching neuropsychology interns and fellows, and other trainees.

Qualifications: Applicants must have a PhD or PsyD and be immediately eligible for state licensure. The successful candidate must have completed an APA/CPA accredited clinical psychology graduate program, with an APA/CPA accredited internship with a neuropsychology focus, and a 2-year postdoctoral fellowship in clinical neuropsychology. Applicants must be eligible to sit for ABPP in clinical neuropsychology. All qualifications must be met by the time of appointment.

Clinical responsibilities focus on neuropsychological evaluations of a rich variety of neurological, neurosurgical, medical, and psychiatric populations. This is a clinical position with strong teaching and supervision expectations within our well-known, training-focused APA accredited clinical psychology internship which has a neuropsychology focus and our APPCN postdoctoral fellowship in clinical neuropsychology. Additional teaching opportunities exist with medical students and residents within the department and broader Health Sciences Center on topics relevant to psychology/neuropsychology. Opportunities for research are varied.

The WVU Rockefeller Neuroscience Institute guides a team of 280 dedicated faculty in providing compassionate patient care and advanced medicine through education, research, and outreach in the many diverse communities we serve.
