Job Overview

Start Time: Approximately 5:30 AM; could vary

Position is based out of Clarksburg; at times may be required to assist in Elkins, Morgantown, and Parkersburg.

The Supervisor, Assistant Sales will support the Sales Supervisors to ensure the efficient delivery and merchandising of company products while meeting Company objectives, distribution, and sales goals. This role will assist Management with skilldevelopment for merchandisers through coaching and proper training techniques; serve as the first leadership position to run any open routes per route discipline, such as bulk, conventional, full service, and cold bottle.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Partner with the Supervisor, Sales to teach, train, and coach route salesmen on processes and procedures necessary to maximize sales and profitability within assigned accounts while maintaining and, or exceeding satisfactory customer service
  • Consistently planand documentroute rides with route salesmen to ensure "RED" or Right Execution Daily, looking for continuous improvement opportunities
  • Manage and track the timely execution of ALL sales programs and initiatives in the assigned territory to ensure maximum sales and profitability for the Company and the Customer
  • Partner with customers to identify needs and look for opportunities to support their business and to increase sales, space, and productivity in an account while maintaining and, or exceeding satisfactory customer service
  • Spend time investing in personal career development and skill development of self and teammates, looking for ways to grow and encouraging the growth of others
  • Look for continuous improvement opportunities and partnerwith management to establish behaviors that ensure a safe and cohesive working environment
  • Ensure teammates receive proper safe working techniques in the trade and that they have the proper equipment
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Up to 12 months of progressive management experience in soft drink and beverage industry or related industry strongly preferred
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule as needed
Minimum Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Class A CDL Drivers License or the ability to obtain one
Preferred Qualifications
  • College Degree
  • Valid Class A driver's license required
  • Clean driving record with no moving violations
