Job Description

Shared Services: Unified Administration Sy-(Full-Time, Day Shift) -

Job Summary: The Business Analyst-UAS acts as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) in the area(s) assigned. Creates content and documentation for training materials where applicable. Participates in multi-disciplinary work teams to achieve successful execution of projects. May facilitate developing and implementing organizational change management strategic plans, including approaches and tactics with different business units. Performs and documents business rules analyses, gap and fit analyses, creates and measures key performance indicators (KPIs) with the business areas assigned; designs, and ensures organizational readiness. Collaborates with Operations, Information Services, and Staff Development departments to support implementations and continual application improvement. Develops and maintains workflows, defines customizations and optimizations, performs system configurations, addresses reporting needs by creating and testing reports and extracts as needed; functions as the integrated system expert by understanding systems integration and providing day-to-day support of area(s) in focus. Performs other duties as needed.

Education and Experience: Bachelor*s Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Finance, Human Capital Management or related field required. Minimum two years of experience in department subject area or related field, or two years of experience in Information Systems using subject area Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system or platform required.

Knowledge and Skills: Understanding of technology structures (UML, Data Models, Networks, Database, etc.). Knowledge of Scrum or Lean processes. Able to read; write legibly; speak in English with professional quality; use computer, printer, and software programs necessary to the position g., Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint). Strong knowledge of project management tools such as tools for task tracking and team collaboration efforts. Able to relate and communicate positively, effectively, and professionally with others; work calmly and respond courteously when under pressure; lead, supervise, teach, and collaborate; accept direction. Ability to deal effectively with people virtually or in person as required and elicit support from other department areas, vendors, and customers. Excellent analytical, communication, and documentation skills. Able to organize all work; demonstrate excellent planning, problem solving, analysis, documentation, presentation and organization skills; analyze and interpret data, processes and needs based on limited information; organize work and resources; define problems and solutions, prioritize work load; make recommendations; manage time effectively and plan and implement objectives effectively. Able to communicate effectively in English in person, in writing, and on the telephone; think critically; work independently; perform basic math and statistical functions; manage multiple assignments; compose written material; work well under pressure; recall information with accuracy; pay close attention to detail. Able to distinguish colors as necessary; hear sufficiently for general conversation in person and on the telephone, and identify and distinguish various sounds associated with the workplace; see adequately to read computer screens, and written documents necessary to the position.

Licensures and Certifications: IIBA* Certification of Competency in Business Analysis (CCBA*) preferred.
