Role Description:

Form Energy is seeking a Senior Facilities Engineer with manufacturing facilities building infrastructure, coordination of systems implementation (controls), and CAD design experience and knowledge of reliability programs and is interested in joining our manufacturing operations team within the commercial operations group. This is an exciting opportunity to join our talented and growing team at our high-volume, state-of-the-art advanced battery manufacturing facility in Weirton, WV.

This team focuses on meeting Form Factory One's (FF1) operational needs, including facilities management, planning, and maintaining facilities equipment and high-volume manufacturing lines. We will employ over 750 people at FF1 and have an annual production capacity of 500 megawatts of our novel iron-iron battery energy storage system.

The Facilities Engineer will support facilities-related engineering projects, upgrades, and improvements across our Form Factory One location. Collaborating and working closely with cross-functional teams, you will support the design, planning, and delivery of projects to meet costs, timelines, environment, and sustainability needs.

What you'll do:
  • Provide technical expertise and support to resolve facility-related issues and challenges

  • Help develop maintenance strategies for facilities' equipment

  • Perform comprehensive evaluations and analyses to ensure projects meet operational, budgetary, and environmental objectives

  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams across Form Energy to develop project specifications, timelines, and budgets

  • Ensure all projects comply with applicable codes, standards, and environmental regulations, promoting safety and sustainability

  • Champion continuous improvement by leveraging insights from project outcomes to enhance future initiatives

What you'll bring:
  • A degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering, or related field and proven experience with CAD software

  • Experience in facilities engineering, management, or a related role

  • Technical experience in building systems, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and other facility-related infrastructure

  • Ability to analyze complex issues and provide practical solutions

  • Adaptable, able to quickly assess and prioritize competing priorities; detail-oriented and well-developed organizational, communication, and time-management skills

  • Highly regarded Professional Engineering (P.E.) license or the pursuit thereof
