West Virginia University's College of Applied Human Sciences is seeking applications for a Program Assistant for the Office of Student Success.
About the Opportunity
The incumbent will provide front line administrative support to the Office of Student Success. This includes working the front desk for the Office of Student Success, directing students/walk-ins to the appropriate person, and answering student questions or escalate to the correct resource. They will also facilitate forms and processes, chiefly the teacher certification process including receiving, evaluating, processing and maintaining records for in/out of state students applications for teacher certification, certificate renewal, additional endorsements, additional degrees, and salary increments. The incumbent will also provide information to students/faculty/staff seeking a license to teach, or endorsements on existing certificates, and on certification requirements. This position also manages forms and processes related to NCAA certification, Academic Common Market, Ohio Reciprocity, Course Program Of Study, Internship Requests, and Academic Status Updates.
