Instructor - School of Nursing: Keyser Campus (LPN to BSN Program)

West Virginia University School of Nursing: Potomac State Department on the Keyser, WV campus, invites applications for a full-time, 12-month, teaching-track faculty member for our new LPN to BSN Program. The faculty member will report to the department chairperson. The selected applicant will begin the position starting summer 2024 and work 37.5 hours per week, with hours determined in collaboration with the department chairperson.

Faculty responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the LPN to BSN program track, including applicant admissions and student progression and transition to RN practice.
  • Assist the department chairperson to organize student schedules.
  • Assist and support students in the transition to RN level education and the BSN major.
  • Teach didactics in classroom and small-group settings.

Qualifications
  • Master's degree in nursing (MSN).
  • Two years of academic teaching experience in nursing.
  • Two years of practice experience as a registered nurse.
  • Unencumbered West Virginia RN license by position start date.
