We are currently hiring a Full-Time Optical Machine Operator


Pay rate: Starts at $22.50 per hour (varies per shift) - 1st (M-F)

What you'll do:

* Prepare and clean lenses to load into trays for processing.

* Ensure lenses are clean of dust and debris.

* Loading, sorting and prepping lenses for processing.

* Monitor machine status for auto surfacing line that generates Rx prescription.

* Use or load specialized coating machines to add treatments to surfaced lenses.

* Set up lenses into racks, feed, or load lenses into machine.

* Visual inspection of the lenses after process.

* May include inserting completed lenses into frames.

Qualifications:

* High School Diploma or GED.

* Experience in the Optical Industry as it relates to ophthalmic lenses is a plus.

* Must be willing to work overtime when needed (may include weekends or holidays).

* Able to read and write English language.

Physical Requirements:

* While performing the duties of this job, most positions will require the employee to stand and use hands to manipulate or handle lenses or lab trays.

* The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
