West Virginia University School of Dentistry in Morgantown, West Virginia is seeking applications for a full-time, tenure or clinical track, faculty member at the Assistant, Associate, or Professor level, to serve as a faculty member in the Department of Endodontics.

This position involves classroom, laboratory, and preclinical instruction as well as supervision in both the predoctoral and postdoctoral clinics. Faculty are expected to coordinate educational experiences with all departments in the School of Dentistry and the Health Sciences Center. Participation in research and pursuit of personal development within the School of Dentistry are required of all faculty members. The candidate is expected to participate in intramural dental faculty practice and must be eligible for a West Virginia dental license ().

Qualifications

The candidate must have a D.D.S. or D.M.D. degree from an accredited U.S. or Canadian dental school or a foreign equivalent and satisfactory completion of a CODA accredited postgraduate training program in Endodontics. Advanced training and a certificate in Endodontics is required. The candidate should be able to document successful teaching and clinical practice in an academic setting and demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

West Virginia University School of Dentistry is located in the historic community of Morgantown, West Virginia. Located only 80 miles south of Pittsburgh, Morgantown is easily accessible to major metropolitan areas in the East and Midwest.

The School of Dentistry is one of 14 colleges in a major, land-grant research University and is part of a comprehensive Health Sciences Center which includes the Schools of Dentistry, Medicine, Nursing, Pharmacy, and Public Health, the Mary Babb Randolph Cancer Center and West Virginia University Hospitals. The Health Sciences Center campus is also the home of the new Blanchette Rockefeller Neuroscience Institute and a new Library/Learning Resource Center.
