Key responsibilities for this role include:

• Perform general instrumental analysis.

• Assist scientists to develop and validate analytical methods.

• Assist with instrument calibrations and maintenance.

• Calculate, check, and/or review analytical data.

• Write protocols, technical reports, SOPs, and procedures.

• Conduct literature searches and compile data for group meetings.

• Perform stability and release testing using established analytical methods.

• May work on analytical projects under general supervision.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

The minimum qualifications for this role are:

• Minimum of a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in a scientific field and 0-2 years of experience. However, a combination of experience and/or education will be taken into consideration.

• Must possess good communication, time management, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Must possess computer skills, including competency with multiple Microsoft Office programs.

• Must possess ability to read and interpret general business documents and write routine reports and general business correspondence. Must be able to work with peers and communicate basic concepts.

• Must be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide. A basic understanding of statistics is required.

• Must possess ability to solve practical problems through standardized solutions that require some technical judgment. Must be able to follow prescribed and detailed procedures to solve routine problems.

• This position will typically require working in a laboratory setting, which can include sitting at a desk or table or standing over a laboratory bench. The physical demands will also include intermittent sitting, standing, walking, climbing steps, bending/kneeling, or use of hands and arms to carry things. Sedentary lifting may also be required. Periodic travel may be required.
