MDCB- Extrusion Technician C
Description/Job Summary
Required Education
The primary function of the Extrusion Technician/Operator is to set-Up is to set up all equipment for each film line for products and to make adjustments to the equipment during production.
Responsibilities/Duties
- Set up film line production orders as detailed by Product Spec Sheets.
- Recognize orders on the IBS Tablet system.
- Makes appropriate adjustments to the line equipment to produce a quality product
- Checks the machines for proper working order prior to setting up a line.
- Helps to direct and train the line operators in production of the product
- Periodically checks the bag weight, size, printing, strength and seal.
- Assists the Shift Supervisor as required.
- Follows all safety policies and procedures and ensures good housekeeping practices
- Performs other duties as required to support department and plant missions.
- Must be able to perform visual inspections involving small defects.
- Fork Lift Certified
- Reports scrap material weights, and movements through tracking system.
- Must be able to put lines in production from start to finish.
- Assist in Shift Paperwork.
GED or high school diploma.
