The Department of Facilities and Services at West Virginia University is currently accepting applications for four (4) Temporary Maintenance Worker I (Summer Paint Helper) positions to work in various locations across the Morgantown campus. The Summer Paint Helpers will work from May 6th- August 16th from 6:00 am- 2:00 pm, Monday-Friday.
About the Opportunity
The positions of Temporary Maintenance Worker I (Summer Paint Helper) are part of the Department of Facilities and Services. These positions report to the Operations Manager.
Under the direction of the Operation Manager, the duties of this position requires the individual to assist in the performance of a variety of painting tasks related to maintenance and repair of buildings. Also, performs task such as the moving of furniture and a variety of janitorial duties pertaining to Painting and repair projects throughout the campus.
PAY GRADE - 9
Assignment Length: Approximately 3 months

High School or an equivalent combination of education and directly related work experience
A minimum of 6 months:
Long periods of standing - Daily
Long periods of walking - Daily
Lifting of items weighing up to 50 pounds - As needed
Moving furniture and unloading supplies - As needed
