Job Description

Position Summary: Under the direction of the Head of Marketing, the Marketing Activation Associate will be responsible for assisting in the implementation & activation of marketing plans, promotional activities for key customers/channel & brands. This role is accountable for "Excellence in Execution" of marketing strategies through implementation and monitoring effectiveness. The Marketing Activation Associate will also be responsible for ensuring proper plans are executed and participating in special projects as assigned.

  • Lead the account plan with vendor / agencies and ensure consistent branding execution in line with business strategy.
  • Liaise on all tactical / promotional activities & opportunities, marketing issues and ensure program execution and follow through.
  • Brand Management responsibility for key assigned brands across the global GTR structure
  • Deliver timely and accurate reporting, i.e., monthly comments, activation summary, competition update, etc.
  • Partner with Head of Marketing & Commercial team on ad hoc projects.
  • Successfully interact with customer contacts; agencies, vendors (POS, Display, etc.), and all levels of PRTRA organization.
  • Action & lead the development & co-ordination of In-store execution (activation in the store) focusing in "Excellence in Execution" across assigned accounts & PMUs
  • Responsible for the budget management & procurement efforts as it relates to POS materials necessary for activations.
  • Ensure that all promotional activities which are implemented in his/her customer are in line with the agreed marketing plans and guidelines.
  • Responsible for effectively implementing & tracking A&P budgets in line within budget parameters
  • Responsible for PO creation and invoicing for own accounts & projects

Qualifications/Requirements:

Education: BA degree in Business, Marketing

Experience: 3 + years of business experience in Marketing with Brand & Trade Marketing. Thorough and creative problem-solving abilities, strong verbal, and written presentation skills. Must be able to manage multiple initiatives with strong execution orientation and proper project management abilities.

Technical skills: Excel knowledge and PowerPoint. Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and Word.

Languages: English in a business environment. (Spanish desired)

Other or Special Requirements: 10% Travel may be required
