The Opportunity: Patient Care Associate - Medical Unit- White 9
Why This Role Is Important?
- White 9 is seeking a PCA, with Day and Night availability, and to provide rotating weekend and holiday coverage. Nursing students looking for an PCA position for the summer and into Fall semester, are preferred for this opportunity.

- Days (7a-3pm, 7a-7pm), and Night (11pm-7am, 7pm-7am)
- PCA assists patients with daily living needs, monitoring & reading vital signs, drawing blood, and obtaining EKGs. Responds to patient requests in a timely manner, safeguarding patient confidentiality, monitoring patient safety, and always communicating in a respectful manner.

- Required: Must have recent experience, and/or training, in clinical patient care.
- Preferred: Licensed, certified, or enrolled student in a Nursing Assistant, Medical Assistant, Mental Health Technician, or EMT accredited program, at the time of hire, OR
- Candidate enrolled in a Nursing, Pre-Med, PA undergraduate program, with at least one semester of patient care rotations completed, at time of hire.
