Job Title: Information Security Analyst Advisor - Vulnerability Management

Location: Washington, DC

Employment Type: Full-time

Required Security Clearance: TS/SCI with CI Poly (or able to obtain CI poly)

Required Certifications: Security+ or other approved DoD 8570 IAT II certification prior to employment. Other viable certifications that meet this requirement are CCNA Security, CSA+, GICSP, GSEC, or SSCP.

Required Education: High school diploma / GED at minimum.

Required Experience: 12 years experience with HS diploma/GED, or 10 years experience with Associates Degree, or 8 years experience with Bachelors Degree, or 6 years experience with Masters Degree, or 4 years experience with PhD

Position Summary: FEDDATA is growing, and we're looking for an Information Security Analyst Advisor who specializes in Vulnerability Management to join our team in Washington, DC. This work will be performed at client sites in the DC area, and requires a TS/SCI with CI

polygraph. If you're passionate about the cybersecurity career field, and want to work with technologies like Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) servers and clients, then this may be the role for you!

Essential Job Functions:

  • Responsible for strengthening the defensive posture and cyber defense operational readiness of an IT Enterprise, our Enterprise Cyber Network Defense (ECND) program defends and protects Government assets from external Cyber Security attacks and Insider Threats that can potentially cause or create data, systems, networks, and personnel vulnerabilities.
  • Install, configure, and maintain the Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) framework and associated product suites.
  • Assist with major version upgrades of Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) servers and clients.
  • Ensures the integrity and protection of networks, systems, and applications by technical enforcement of organizational security policies, through monitoring of vulnerability scanning devices.
  • Performs periodic and on-demand system audits and vulnerability assessments, including user accounts, application access, file system and external Web integrity scans to determine compliance.
  • Communicates alerts to agencies regarding intrusions and compromises to their network infrastructure, applications and operating systems.
  • Work with security engineering team to integrate new capabilities, plan lifecycle replacements, and provide input into the security architecture roadmaps.
  • Maintain system documentation.
  • Prepares incident reports of analysis methodology and results.

Minimum Required Qualifications:

  • Due to the nature of this position and the information that employees will be required to access, U.S. Citizenship is required.
  • 12 years experience with HS diploma/GED, or 10 years experience with Associates Degree, or 8 years experience with Bachelors Degree, or 6 years experience with Masters Degree, or 4 years experience with PhD.
  • TS/SCI with CI Poly (or able to obtain CI poly).
  • Approved DoD 8570 IAT II certification.

Desired/Preferred Skills:

  • BA/BS (or equivalent experience), 10+ years of experience.
  • GCIH, GCFA, CISSP.

Working Conditions: Work is typically based in a busy office environment and subject to frequent interruptions. Business work hours are normally set from Monday through Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm, however some extended or weekend hours may be required. Additional details on the precise hours will be

informed to the candidate from the Program Manager/Hiring Manager.

Physical Requirements:

May be required to lift and carry items weighting up to 25 lbs. Requires intermittent standing, walking, sitting, squatting, stretching and bending throughout the workday.

Background Screening/Check/Investigation:

Successful Completion of a Background Screening/Check/Investigation will be required as a condition of hire.
